Affordable Lunch Downtown Let's have lunch outside after a long time! I've been bringing my lunch lately, and we don't eat out as often as we used to. Where shall we go? Without thinking at all, I cycled toward Mikuni Station. I went to a place where there is a concentration of restaurants and found several places to have lunch! Reasonable lunch menus are attractive! Located about 3 minutes walk east from Mikuni Station One street off to the south from the shopping street It is said by many locals to be a good place to eat yakitori at a reasonable price. Inside the restaurant, there is a counter in the front and tables in the back. Is it because it's lunchtime? It's a little dark and gloomy. The restaurant is run by a father and a mother. What shall we eat? What shall we have for lunch? Chicken Nanban set meal: 680 yen Chicken katsu set meal: 650 yen Chicken katsu-don: 550 yen Oyako-don: 550 yen Today's service lunch: Chicken Katsu Curry 600 yen When I entered the restaurant, the person in front of me must have had curry. The aroma lingered in the air, and I was inclined to eat curry. I was inclined to try the curry, but the chicken nanban (barbecued chicken) from the person next to me looked intensely delicious! My mouth instantly went to the chicken nanban, so I ordered it! A few moments later, it came on a tray! Rice, miso soup, a small bowl of kombu (kelp) and pickles! The main dish of Chicken Nanban was served with cabbage, potato salad and tomatoes! Everything is handmade, so it has warmth! The Nanban is dipped in a slightly tangy sweet vinegar sauce. It is refreshing with vinegar, and sometimes with tartar, it adds a richness to the dish! The fact that you use chicken meat is also very healthy! And the price is only 680 yen, which is downtown price! A bowl of rice is only 500 yen! Until a few years ago, there used to be a pachinko parlor in front of this place. It must have been tough with the loss of the pachinko parlor and the decrease in customers. Let's come back! Let's go eat yakitori because it's reasonable at night too!
