Located inside the ticket gate of Nagano Station's conventional lines, it's easy to stop by before moving on. Not only are there station bento boxes, but there are also many local specialties and souvenirs that are fun to look at. The two-tiered bento has sesame tofu, mountain vegetables, and skewers in the upper tier, while the lower tier features vinegared rice topped with egg and mountain ingredients, with smoked Shinshu salmon as the highlight. The miso katsu bento has a large piece of Shinshu pork fillet, and it's nice that you can add the miso sauce later. Even when cold, it retains a bit of a crispy texture, and it pairs well with the kinshi tamago (thinly shredded omelet) and chicken soboro (minced chicken), making it easy to enjoy with rice. The gyumeshi (beef rice) is topped with plenty of apple wagyu beef, providing satisfaction with its tenderness and flavor.
