Siphon coffee enjoyed in a relaxing space surrounded by bonsai
Syphon no Ma is a cafe run by Mr. Nakayama, who won the Japan syphonist Championship. In a calm space surrounded by bonsai, you can enjoy delicious siphon coffee and cakes. Especially outstanding are bread from a popular Nagoya bakery and delicately made wagashi. It is a place where you can spend a pleasant time amid the beauty of seasonal flowers and bonsai. A truly soothing space where you can savor a relaxing time in a quiet environment.

Such a wonderful space!! Just watching the siphon brewing at the counter while enjoying the bonsai is more than enough to have fun. The shadow of the bonsai when the drinks and desserts arrived creates a nice atmosphere, making you feel like you're having tea in the shade of a tree.
I was told that during busy times, you can stay for up to 90 minutes, and I thought that was way too long, but before I knew it, time flew by, haha.
I thought the owner seemed quiet, but he taught me how to take photos with my smartphone, and it turned into a very enjoyable time.
I definitely recommend making a reservation before going!

It was very comfortable, and I was able to forget the time and relax. While admiring the cute bonsai, I enjoyed the coffee made carefully with a siphon, even though I usually can't drink black coffee. The dessert was also very delicious... I ended up ordering it twice.
Since I learned various things about bonsai, I wanted to try growing one, so I chose one from the cute bonsai in the shop. I'm looking forward to it from now on.
It's a wonderful space that makes my heart feel at ease. I would like to visit again...

I was able to experience an atmosphere that is not found in the city, in a store that aligns with the theme. I ordered hojicha and moss ball bonsai cake. I used to drink hojicha often at home, but the sweetness and aroma were strong and exceeded my expectations. I am also curious about other teas and coffee, so I plan to visit again. I saw several people who came without a reservation being turned away due to being fully booked, so a reservation is essential!

This was my fourth time using it. The first time was right after it opened, and it was still empty, but now it has become a popular place where you can't sit without a reservation, which is both happy and sad. However, the natural consideration of the staff, including the owner, has not changed since the opening, and it's a place you want to visit even if you have to make a reservation. Also, the coffee is of course delicious, and the bonsai pudding is also tasty. I want to go back to eat the pudding that looks just like chawanmushi for New Year's.

A hidden Japanese cafe located near the International Center Station.
The cozy interior is adorned with bonsai and stone flowers, creating a calm atmosphere.
They offer coffee made with a siphon, tea, and other beverages. There is a seating fee, but if you sit at the counter, you can watch the preparation right in front of you, which is exciting.
The staff's service was also gentle and pleasant.
I would like to visit again.

The coffee, tea, and sweets were all very delicious and had a lot of attention to detail! Also, there are many cafes that focus on coffee and other specialties, but I felt that they made excellent use of the space and concept, resulting in a high level of satisfaction in every aspect. I definitely want to go again!

The scene of making coffee with a siphon, the bonsai placed at each table, and the lighting designed to create shadows on the bonsai, the beautiful Japanese-style desserts, all thoughtfully considered down to the smallest details, were all wonderful and moving. I definitely want to go again.

I went this time because Mr. Inoo was introduced on Travel Salad. The coffee made with a siphon and the moss ball ice cream were really delicious. They were very attentive in helping me choose a bonsai, and I was grateful to be able to purchase something I was satisfied with. It's a bit far, but I definitely want to go again. Thank you very much.

I saw it on a television program and visited. It is a very popular shop, and many people were coming in and waiting in line inside, so there was a bit of an uneasy feeling, but the staff were very kind, and they recommended a coffee that suited my taste from a lot of menu options. The unique menu items, such as ice cream shaped like bonsai, were visually enjoyable as well. I was also healed by the bonsai. Next time, I would like to see the coffee being brewed with a siphon at the counter seats.
