Dumplings loved by locals and tourists alike
While wandering around Osu, a friend of mine said, "I love dumplings here! and came to Shinsei-san!
The savory smell of soy sauce is in the air!
A man is silently baking dumplings outside!
The dumplings sold here are
■Odango
Mitarashi dango
Kinako dango
Various rice crackers
Almost all the customers who come here buy Mitarashi dumplings.
We should buy one too!
I don't remember the price... but it was not 100 yen!
White rice cake on a skewer, grilled on the grill, dipped in the sauce they keep adding...
And voila!
The hot dumplings are soft and fluffy, and the burnt part of the soy sauce is delicious!
Most of the dumplings in Osaka are sweetened with soy sauce, but this kind of not-so-sweet Mitarashi is good too!
The young man who was eating nearby ate it quickly and bought another one...
I think I could eat two of them, but it was just before dinner, so I held out for just one! Patience!
When you finish eating, stick the skewer into an empty plastic bottle and go home!
Next time, let's try soybean flour!
I hope they keep baking dumplings forever!
