The highly reputed curry udon specialty restaurant in Arima Onsen is popular for its lunchtime service only and always draws a large line, but on this particular day we were able to sit at the counter even on a hot day. The curry udon we ordered had unevenly shaped handmade noodles, which went well with the well-cooked curry, and the silver rice went well with the soup. Although not as spicy as it could have been, the whole family was sweating from the head down. The cold curry udon noodles, available only during the summer season, were also very firm and flavorful. Next time I would like to enjoy it with beer. Thank you for the meal.
