We were able to make reservations through this website, so we were able to visit with plenty of time to spare and not have to go early and wait in line. Today, there were only two of us, and we enjoyed our unaju at the counter while looking out over the courtyard. The service was courteous and we had a very pleasant lunch.

It was the best unaju I have ever had. The inside of the restaurant was clean and relaxing, and I was able to enjoy my meal while looking out over the courtyard. The eel was grilled just right and the rice soaked in the sweetened sauce was delicious. The waitresses were wonderfully attentive, and I was impressed by the smiling faces of the customers around me as they ate their meals.

The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and the service was very attentive. In addition to the unaju, we also had the uzaku and umaki tamago (rolled egg), all of which were very tasty.
