As you enter the restaurant, the atmosphere of the Showa era wafts through the air, and both the counter and the raised seating create a calming ambiance. The friendly staff responds promptly, making it easy to relax even for first-time visitors. With charcoal grilling set up right in front of you, the time spent grilling beef tongue and offal at your own pace is very enjoyable. Dishes like toriwasa (sliced raw chicken), cucumber with miso and green onions, and chicken wing gyoza are all crafted with care, making the drinks flow easily. Enjoying cloudy sake or lemon sour in chilled cups while nibbling on chanja (spicy cod entrails) and garlic chives brings a sense of happiness. There are all-you-can-eat courses available, making it perfect for enjoying with friends, and the comfortable atmosphere made me linger longer than intended.
