Ibaraki's famous Mont Blanc Cake Patisserie KOSAI (Mito) A famous western-style confectionary store that offers chestnut pastries unique to Ibaraki Prefecture. They also have a branch in "AEON TOWN Mito Minami SC" in Higashi-Ibaraki County, Ibaraki Prefecture. The store has the atmosphere of a stylish house nestled in the woods. Ibaraki Prefecture is known for producing the largest amount of chestnuts in Japan. Mont Blanc using Iwama chestnuts is very popular. There are many delicious chestnut sweets and cakes! Iwama Chestnut Mont Blanc The chestnut paste around it is moderately sweet and easy to eat. Inside is a light texture of raw chocolate and large chestnuts. The Mont Blanc is the No. 1 most popular cake in Japan. It is a perfect match with coffee. Gâteau Fraise A fluffy sponge cake with honey. Despite its appearance, this one was easy to eat with a moderate sweetness, and the fresh cream was at a level that I wanted to take it home! This is a famous store that many people go out of their way to stop by on their trips to Ibaraki!
