The entrance is small, but surprisingly deep inside, you can relax comfortably at the counter. It's fun to have the dishes you choose grilled right in front of you, and just the aroma makes your stomach growl. The selection of vegetables, meat, and fish is well-balanced, and each dish is light and delicately prepared. The lotus root has a nice texture, and the grilled anago (conger eel) with sauce and the grilled salmon were both satisfying in flavor. Seafood items like oysters and dried sardines are also grilled to a fluffy and fragrant perfection. The quiet staff efficiently take care of everything, making it a cozy place to enjoy with a small group.
