I was excited the moment I sat down in the calm interior that retains the atmosphere of the Showa era. The menu is incredibly diverse, and even the time spent pondering over it is enjoyable. When I ordered the large serving of curry nanban, a good aroma of the broth wafted up with the steam. The thick curry sauce was packed with pork belly and green onions, and the mild spiciness lingered. The thin, firm soba noodles clung well to the sauce, and I couldn't stop eating, finishing it in no time. The portion was more than satisfactory, and after finishing, I felt a sense of fulfillment that made me want to try other soba and udon dishes.
