When I took off my shoes at the entrance, I was welcomed by walls with Hangul patterns and comfortable seating, which made me feel at ease. Sitting at the counter, the friendly owner quickly served me small dishes, which made me excited. The bibim naengmyeon in a golden bowl had noodles that were refreshingly cold and chewy, with a deep and addictive spiciness. The beef bulgogi was full of vegetables, with a blend of sweetness and umami, and it was even more delicious when paired with the kimchi served on a separate plate. The chijimi and soup that came as sides also had a gentle flavor, and they paired perfectly with the rice I ordered more of. After the meal, I enjoyed slowly sipping on self-brewed Korean coffee while gazing at the golden spoon and chopsticks, soaking in a happy afterglow.
