Perfect bento for your Shinkansen journey

Ekibenya Shinkansen South Ticket Gate Store is a place where you can find delicious bento that enhances your trip to Sendai. Conveniently located right next to the Shinkansen platform, it's perfect for meals before your journey or on the train. The bento options feature a variety of local ingredients, and the recommended beef tongue bento is especially exquisite with its grilled aroma and rich flavor. Despite its small size, this shop offers tastes that elevate the joy of travel.

It's nice to have a small shop inside the south ticket gate where you can quickly stop by. They have a variety of bento boxes and drinks, making it easy to prepare before departure. There's also a convenience store next door, making it smooth to pick up snacks. The 'Sendai Report' includes a little bit of local flavor, and I was able to enjoy both white rice and mixed grain rice. The beef tongue bento warms up with steam when you pull the string, and it pairs perfectly with the barley rice, making it delicious. The portion is just right for eating on the train, enhancing the travel mood.
