I was excited to see the skilled preparation of dishes at a restaurant specializing in whales, right across the counter. The first dish I had, the red meat yukhoe, was rich in flavor and had an irresistible creamy texture. Next came the sashimi platter, where each cut had a different aroma and texture, providing a surprise with every bite. The restaurant's specialty, whale and potato, had a gentle seasoning, and the fluffy potatoes paired perfectly with the rich whale meat. The zosui (rice porridge) made after the harihari nabe (hot pot) was infused with broth, and I couldn't put my chopsticks down until the very end. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the head chef and the proprietress, I was able to enjoy a relaxed and pleasant time.
