At a small seaside shop that resembles a beach house, I was excited by the sea breeze and the sound of the waves even before I sat down. The handmade Margherita pizza baked in a stone oven had a chewy crust, and the balance of the tomato sauce and mozzarella was exquisite. The meat sauce pasta had a slight sweetness and deep richness, and the way it clung to the noodles was pleasant. The spicy tomato pasta with chorizo was also loaded with eggplant, and the lingering spiciness became addictive. The interior had a relaxed atmosphere that felt like summer, allowing me to unwind while gazing at the calm Setouchi Sea through the window. Outside, I was greeted by goats leisurely munching on grass and a black cat napping on the sofa, making for a very heartwarming time.
