[Kasumigaura's Blessing]
A Florentine cookie made with wakasagi and zazae shrimp simmered in Kasumigaura... This is a rare baked confectionery that can only be purchased here in Japan. It was featured on Nippon TV's 'Buraari Tochuu Gesha' with Kenjiro Ishimaru as the reporter. It is perfect as a souvenir from Tsuchiura. The surprise when you open the box is interesting. Who would have thought that there would be a wakasagi simmered in soy sauce on top of the cookie... The taste is sweet and salty, without any fishy smell, and leaves a lasting impression.
