When you open the sliding door, the comforting air makes you feel at home right away. There is a variety of fresh sashimi available that day, and I was surprised by the thickness of the scallops. You can also enjoy the flavors of the sea with dishes like cod, flatfish, and red sea bream, which truly reflects the essence of this region. The skewers and hot pot made with local pork are also fragrant, and you can be satisfied all the way to the finishing rice porridge. The rare horse liver sashimi has a crunchy texture, and it pairs well with sesame oil and salt. There is a wide selection of shochu, including house-made sake, and the atmosphere is welcoming even for solo diners.
