The small shop located in a corner of the food stall village has a handmade interior that exudes the warmth of wood, creating a calming atmosphere. With only about a dozen seats, there is a sense of togetherness that allows you to quickly bond with the neighboring customers. The menu mainly features seafood caught near Kesennuma, and the freshness of the sashimi platter made me smile involuntarily. In addition to flounder and bonito, there were also fresh squid, all of which had firm flesh and a rich ocean aroma. The signature dish, Moka's star, when eaten with sesame oil and salt, has a crunchy texture and a rich umami flavor that surprised me. Local sake and light cocktails are also available, making for a delightful time that pairs well with the dishes.
