A new cafe enjoying fermented culture and local ingredients

Located in the Kurokabe Square of Nagahama City, Lake's School is a unique experiential cafe themed around fermentation. The interior is open and spacious, featuring dishes made with local ingredients from Shiga. There is also a variety of exclusive drinks, such as fermented ginger chai, that you can only enjoy here. Located in the Kurokabe Square area of Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, this new store opened last December. Located right in front of the Hikiyama Museum, it has a stylish general merchandise and goods sales space. The spacious café space offers a menu featuring Shiga ingredients such as cheese, miso, and koji, which are produced in Lake Scole. The Omi beef keema curry, in particular, is made with coarsely ground minced beef and Omi beef, and has a clean, easy-to-eat taste with little spiciness. The restaurant is spacious and has a family room. There are many stylish restaurants in Kurokabe Square, and the number of young tourists seems to be increasing. When you visit Shiga again, be sure to visit the stores and enjoy the food.
