Upon entering the restaurant, a calm space with an L-shaped counter unfolded before me. Just looking at the neatly arranged obanzai made me excited, and when I first ordered the marinated small horse mackerel, the balance of sourness and sweetness was exquisite, making it hard to put my chopsticks down. The oden with daikon that had absorbed the flavors was also gentle in taste, and the bottled beer went down smoothly. There were also daily handmade dishes like mapo tofu and mini chijimi, all of which had a homey feel but with a unique twist that impressed me. The friendly and cheerful owner chatted with me, and I was happy to quickly blend into the circle of regulars, even as a first-time visitor. It was a wonderful izakaya where I could spend time in a warm atmosphere and relax.
