It's quite an old one on Third Avenue... ♪ After shopping, I'm not that hungry... why? That's when I remembered this place, Bubutei! It's a Akashiyaki and Takoyaki restaurant! They have been in business on Sanbangai since I was a child. When I was in junior high school, I went in there with a friend and knocked over the chopstick stand with a splash of chopsticks! Inside the restaurant, there are tables and a large table in the middle, which I guess is for one person. The menu is simple! Akashiyaki 8 pieces per person, 520 yen Takoyaki 8 pieces per person, 480 yen Takoyaki au gratin 630 yen Draft beer, chu-hi (shochu), and soft drinks are available. I'm not in the mood for takoyaki, so I chose Akashiyaki. It was served rather quickly... It was a weekday night, and there were only a few customers. Akashiyaki is beautifully golden brown and grilled to a perfect round shape! The broth has a nice aroma! Deliciously soft, fluffy and tender! The octopus should be a little bigger, but for the price, it's acceptable! I finished it in no time! I could have eaten as many takoyaki as I wanted, but I must be patient because I mustn't get carried away! I wish there were more variations in the number of pieces! I wish there were more variations in the number of pieces. It's hard to say "for two people"... Maybe it's a steel plate thing. It's been a long time since I've had a good old-fashioned taste, and I'm glad they're still in business.
