Happy New Year 🙇‍♀️🎍✨ I'm going to eat a lot of delicious food and update slowly this year, thank you for your support 🥰. Now, to the last cafe post of my trip to Yamaguchi ☕. After filling my stomach with mapo tofu, I went to San. The lunch looked delicious, but I was especially interested in the sweets 🍰🍴 and was greeted by a cute and chatty lady 💓. As I was looking at the cakes in the showcase, the staff lady politely recommended and explained the products to me, which was very helpful 🥺✨. As an indecisive person, I am extremely grateful 😂🙏🙏 lol She recommended the fruit sandwich. I think it was limited to 6 servings a day? I was attracted by the recommendation and the limited number of orders, so I went for the fruit sandwich 🤤💕 The fruit sandwich, by the way, was a rasichi! I also ordered the orange and caramel nut pancake (?) that I had seen on Instagram and wanted to try. I think the name of the drink was something like "black coffee" for Takkun, but it seemed unusual 🙂 . I think it had an unusual name 🥺. I went for the seasonal chai, which I love. I tend to order chai when it's available🤣I like it that much! As I was taking pictures, here come the sweets 🤤! First, a sip of the drink. The chai is sweet, full of milk, and has a spicy aroma. I love it so much! Then I ate the pancake first before the ice cream melted 🥞. It took so long to take the picture that the lake of vanilla ice cream was almost ready 🤭 lol I think the pancakes were soaked in syrup? It was topped with orange slices, crushed nuts, vanilla ice cream, raisins, and some kind of biscotti. Two pieces of dough, not too big, not too small. Just the right amount of soufflé, fluffy and moist with an eggy flavor 🥺✨. The texture is somewhere between a soufflé and a non-soufflé pancake! I love Nanten's pancakes so much! The slightly warm batter with cold vanilla ice cream was too good to be true! The biscotti-like pancakes provided were also very crunchy, and you can eat them with vanilla ice cream at 🙆‍♀️. Then, the fruit sandwiches! The bread was English bread-like, with just the right amount of pull. The bread is like English bread, with just the right amount of firmness. Inside is a sandwich of sweet and juicy strawberries, bananas, and kiwi, with a generous amount of lightly sweetened cream. The cream seems to contain honey and cream cheese, and the honey has a gentle sweetness. Both were too good! I had it with sweet chai, but it wasn't at all bitter! The staff was great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great, so I hope to visit again when I go back to Yamaguchi. Oh yeah, I left my ring in the bathroom at Nanten's and they mailed it to me when I DMed 😭✨. I really appreciate it 🥺🙏💓 I thought this was a wonderful thing too! Thank you so much Nanten staff 🥺💓 The trip to Yamaguchi went by so fast. I had a lot of fun! Thank you for taking me to the places I wanted to go and eating delicious food with me 😌🙏💕 Next time, please take me to Tokushima for a little outing 💓 lol
