The focus is on sashimi and seafood, all of which are fresh and satisfying. The tuna, in particular, has a good amount of fat and is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The grilled herring topped with wasabi is aromatic and superb. I also love the grilled dish with thick fried tofu layered with fried natto, and the tender fried octopus. Even the appetizers are carefully prepared, with flavors of wasabi and tuna mixed with green onions and sesame oil, making it enjoyable from the start. There is also a selection of sake, which can be savored slowly alongside tempura of wild vegetables.
