When you open the cute door that looks like a private house, a faint exotic aroma wafts through, making you excited. A plate with a mountain of basmati rice topped with papad is visually appetizing. The chicken seasoned with cardamom and the fish curry that brings out the umami of bonito each have their own character, yet they harmonize beautifully when mixed together. Adding sweet coconut flakes and gentle bean curry mellows the spiciness, making the flavor changes enjoyable. The curry, not too hot, is pleasant to eat with your hands, and combined with the fluffy rice, it was a refreshing experience. The Sri Lankan tea and jelly we had after the meal were also fragrant, allowing us to enjoy a little travel feeling along with the foreign language radio playing in the shop.
