I wanted to take a break near the gate of Byodoin, so I casually came in here. The first thing that caught my eye was the rich matcha-colored soft serve ice cream, which had a wonderful aroma and was very satisfying. Since I could choose between homemade soba and udon, I ended up ordering a set that allows me to taste three types of soba at once. The cha soba with wild vegetables was soft and paired perfectly with the gentle flavor of the broth. The regular soba had a firm texture, and it was fun to compare the differences between them. I think this is a convenient place where you can easily stop by during sightseeing and enjoy everything from sweets to noodles.
