When I wait a little for the freshly baked French toast, it arrives hot and I am happy. The thick slices of bread are soaked with eggs and milk, making the crust soft and melt-in-your-mouth. The combination of the cheese inside and the potato soup and sliced potatoes on top creates a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. It seems they use bread from a popular nearby bakery, and the aroma of the bread and the deliciousness of the ingredients come through strongly. The corn in the salad and the French fries are also tasty, and I like the café-like interior of the shop. Even when I take it out and reheat it, it retains its moistness and I was satisfied.

This is a French toast specialty shop in the city, and the interior is calm like a café. They use local eggs, beet sugar, Yotsuba cream and milk, and butter, which pair well with their carefully selected bread. Since it is served fresh, there is a bit of a wait, but it is hot and fragrant. They offer both sweet and savory options, and dishes like red bean butter, crème brûlée, and caramel with Memuro peanuts are delightful. The inside is creamy while the crust is light and crispy, with a nice nutty texture as an accent. The menu items that combine cheese and potatoes have a pleasant balance of sweetness and saltiness, and the corn in the salad is fresh and delicious.
