The aroma of European-style curry spreads, and I am surprised by the depth of flavor from the first bite. The roux is sweet and thick, with a lingering hint of garlic. The roux is served separately from the rice, which is nice because I can pour it at my own pace. You can choose coleslaw, a mini soup, or pudding as part of the set, and each has a careful flavor. The combination of shrimp, mushrooms, and cream croquettes pairs well, and the different textures are enjoyable. The grilled vegetables and tender beef tendon are also impressive, especially the broccoli, which is incredibly delicious.
