There are several Ryumon restaurants in Kyoto, but I first visited when my daughter was a college student. The restaurant is located on Sanjo Street. Personally, I think it is the best there. It seems that the taste and finish differ slightly from store to store. I felt the amount of meat was sufficient and the price was fair. The soup was also delicious and I drank more than half of it.
