In a warm space that has been renovated from an old house, you can feel relaxed as soon as you enter. For lunch, there are plenty of side dishes, and you can enjoy various gentle-tasting Japanese home-cooked dishes. In addition to white sesame spinach and hijiki seaweed, there are also simmered lotus root and hand-torn konjac, all of which are flavors that go well with rice. The miso soup is rich in aroma and contains shimeji mushrooms, which is comforting. The main dish, shrimp tempura, has a crispy batter and plump shrimp, which pairs well with the simple sweetness of the pumpkin from the restaurant's garden. The simmered napa cabbage and pork that we had while waiting also had a gentle umami, allowing us to enjoy a happy mood until the end.
