Kawakame

Kawakame is a long-established eel specialty restaurant in Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture, dating back to the Edo period, offering high-quality eel dishes. The interior exudes a sense of history and cleanliness, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of dining in a luxury ryokan. The selected eel is carefully grilled over Kishu binchotan charcoal, resulting in a thin skin and thick flesh that melts in your mouth.
