I was grateful to have made a reservation, but the meal was very satisfying! There were many menu items featuring local ingredients from Okinawa, and we couldn't choose everything for just the two of us, but everything was delicious. For me, whether the tofu champuru is good or not is one of the indicators that affects the restaurant's rating in Okinawan cuisine, and the tofu soaked in the broth was very tasty, which raised my expectations for the other dishes. Thank you for the meal that met my expectations!
It is a small izakaya (Japanese style bar) that serves Ishigaki's specialties using local ingredients. I recommend the small octopus stir-fried with garlic. There is a wide variety of Awamori, which I was expecting. The friendly proprietress also makes a good impression. I recommend it if you come to Ishigaki Island. But advance reservation is a must.
The food is incredibly delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and comfortable. The taste is excellent, but I really love the ambiance. Everything I eat is delicious, and in this atmosphere, I tend to linger. You can feel the dedication to the food, and the vibe of the place is wonderful. It's a restaurant that makes you want to come back, not just for the taste but for the overall atmosphere.
I made a reservation because I wanted to try eating adan. The stir-fried new shoots had a good texture and were delicious. There is a wide variety of dishes and drinks. Also, in Okinawa, the portions can be quite large, so be careful, but here the portions were just right, and we were able to enjoy a variety of things even as a couple.
