The moment I brought the bowl close to my mouth, the gentle aroma of the broth spread softly, making me feel happy. The clear soup has a subtle sweetness, and the light aftertaste is pleasant. The hand-cut soba, a mix of thin and thick noodles, has an interesting texture against the tongue, making it enjoyable to slurp. When I dip the fragrant maitake tempura into the broth, the umami bursts out, making me smile involuntarily. After finishing the thick soba water that comes out after the meal, I felt warmed to the core. Combined with the calm atmosphere of the mountain surroundings and the cheerful service from the staff, I feel this is the perfect place to take a break during a drive.
