This is a restaurant in the town of Onomichi where you can enjoy the fragrant eel. It is said to be prepared in the Kanto style, first steamed and then grilled, resulting in a plump and pleasant texture. The sauce is served separately, allowing you to use as much as you like, and adding sansho pepper enhances the aroma significantly. The white grilled eel can be enjoyed simply with salt or soy sauce, offering a different kind of goodness. The takeout box is stylish, and when you open the lid, the two pieces of eel are neatly arranged, lifting your spirits. Nara pickles and plum pickles, as well as bone crackers, pair well with the dish, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
