It is just a short walk from the station, and the sign is easy to find. Inside the store, there is a wide array of pickled foods and seafood products, allowing you to enjoy local flavors. The pickled scallops from the Thunnus are said to be one of the rare delicacies in the country, known for their pleasant aroma and rich umami. I feel they are perfect not only with rice or ochazuke but also as a companion for alcohol. The chestnut in astringent skin is also carefully prepared, leaving a delicate texture and gentle sweetness that is impressive. It is also delightful to be able to taste samples, making the selection process enjoyable.
