The softly grilled eel is fragrant and very satisfying. The sauce is not too heavy, and the sansho pepper pairs well, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. There is no unpleasant smell from the skin, and you can feel the careful craftsmanship. The clear fish broth in the soup is gentle in aroma. I appreciate the thoughtful gestures like the tea refills. The cozy and calming interior of the restaurant, along with the delicious coffee and cute chopstick rests, made for a lovely experience.
