The quiet second-floor interior of the shop has a warmth of wood, and just gazing out from the window-side seats brings a sense of calm. Sitting on the sofa and sipping a creamy iced café latte, a comforting sweetness spread through me. The hearty minestrone, rich with the flavor of bacon, pairs perfectly with the homemade ciabatta. The chocolate terrine I chose for dessert was rich yet had a light aftertaste, and the accompanying ice cream was a nice accent. In the relaxed atmosphere, I also enjoyed tasting sake, feeling the unique charm that comes from having a sake brewery on-site. It’s a wonderful place where you can experience the allure of both a café and a sake brewery at once, and I ended up staying longer than I intended.
