This store at the top of Mt. Asakuma offers excellent udon noodles, a specialty of Ise. The warm bukkake udon noodles, with extra-thick noodles and a little more broth, are served with a sweet sauce based on dark tamari soy sauce, which is not as salty as it looks and has an exquisite sweet and spicy flavor. The noodles are very thick, soft, and safe to eat. Be sure to stop by when you visit Ise.
