A yakitori izakaya to enjoy nostalgic and homestyle flavors

Yoshitsune is a cozy izakaya nestled quietly in the residential areas of Omori, Omori Kaigan, and Heiwajima, with yakitori as the star of the show. The interior exudes a Showa-era charm, and the aroma of grilled yakitori wafting from the front creates a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are comforting homestyle cooking, reminiscent of a mother's touch, and continue to be beloved by regular customers.

The aroma of grilled chicken being cooked outside was irresistible, so I stopped by. The interior has a retro feel and a warm atmosphere, making it easy to relax right away. The attentive service from the two older women is gentle, and you can feel the warmth of home. The appetizer of simmered dishes is rich in dashi and has a gentle deliciousness. The potato salad mixes chunky potatoes with mashed ones, and the sweetness of the apple adds an accent. The fragrant grilled chicken, when enjoyed with salt, enhances the aroma and soothes the heart.
