It was a last-minute reservation, and I was a bit anxious when it was confirmed the day before. The taste was very delicious. The green tea porridge was beautiful, and the bento was filled with various dishes like a treasure box. The staff were also very kind, which made me happy.

It was my second visit, and I was able to enjoy green tea porridge, which is rarely seen even in Nara, while also savoring a variety of ingredients in small portions. It was a meal that satisfied not only my taste buds but also my eyes. Although it was lunchtime, both the restaurant and the surroundings were quiet, and I felt truly relaxed. I would like to visit again as a special treat for myself.

We arrived earlier than our reservation time, but they were kind enough to let us in. I was very satisfied with the careful work and seasoning of each ingredient, as well as the colorful and beautiful presentation of the dishes. The warabi mochi was the first time in my life that I had ever felt the texture of a rice cake. Handmade is really amazing!

The bowl was filled with many dishes, each one elaborate and delicious. The tea porridge was also available cold in the summer, which was very tasty since it was a hot season. The tea porridge is generally made with hojicha (roasted green tea), but this one is made with tian cha (sweet tea), which is a beautiful green color with a slightly different taste, but it was delicious.

I had tea porridge for the first time. It was light and delicious. All the colorful dishes were also very tasty. The interior was cozy, with two tatami rooms and about three tables. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but it was fully booked with reservations.

A shop located in Naramachi, a little away from the hustle and bustle around Todai-ji, which is crowded with foreign tourists. Not only the main tea porridge but also the dishes centered around Yamato vegetables are all delicious, allowing you to savor the quality and flavor of the ingredients. I was able to enjoy a quiet lunch.
