The large clams from Akkeshi are steamed with sake to create a fluffy texture, concentrating their umami, and the dish is exceptional as it is finished with a rice porridge made from the broth. The homemade satsuma-age has a fluffy texture and a rustic sweetness, while the fried eggplant can be enjoyed hot with the aroma of the broth. There is a rich variety of dishes that pair well with adult drinking occasions, including sashimi of red tuna and slowly simmered offal stew.

This is a calm izakaya where one can enjoy conversations in the unique tranquility of an underground space, accompanied by the gentle flow of Showa-era songs. The horigotatsu private rooms can accommodate a wide range of gatherings, from small dining events to business receptions, while the counter seats, infused with the warmth of wood, shine with the heartwarming hospitality of the couple, providing visitors with a sense of security and relaxation.

Founded in July 1998, this long-established izakaya has been beloved by the local community in Maruyama for over a quarter of a century. Using seasonal seafood and mountain vegetables sourced from various regions in Hokkaido, we strive to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients. We also have a strong commitment to local sake and authentic shochu, offering a wide variety of brands at all times, and we place great importance on harmony with our dishes.
