Upon entering the market building, I am first surprised and excited by the sturdy counter. The style of ordering by filling out a paper slip myself is fun, and I can relax with self-serve tea while waiting. The tuna bowl that arrives is piled high with both red meat and belly, and the glossy fish catches the eye. The wasabi greens scattered on top of the rice add a refreshing aroma, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The clam miso soup and pork soup are also rich in flavor, perfectly complementing the bowl. The satisfaction makes me want to wait in line, and I was able to fully enjoy the lively atmosphere unique to the market.
