Hitsumabushi with powerful visuals The end of the month is a week of intense work! And this week, I have to renew my driver's license, which is a pain in the ass...I've extended it for 3 months...but it's time to go. I'm going to have to get some nutritional supplements to make up for the summer heat and the hard schedule I have this week. After all...eels! I've been avoiding this restaurant for some reason, even though it's rather close to my neighborhood, but when I heard from Otetsu (King of the Railroad) of the GOLD food log that he likes it, I paid it a visit for the first time. I've been to this restaurant for a while now, and I've never been to this restaurant before. According to the restaurant log, the restaurant opens at 4:30 p.m., but in fact it opens at 5:00 p.m. (థKouథKou.) This is a common occurrence... It was crowded because it was the weekend, but we managed to get in on the first round (; ・・`д・´) Hitsu-mabushi: 3,650 yen Compared to other famous restaurants... the price is quite reasonable. We can choose from Asahi or Kirin beer until it's ready to be cooked. I'm an Edo native... of course I'll have a man's Kirin Lager (๑-๑̀ㅂ́)و✧. I'm normally an eels-and-rice bowl person, but I was intrigued by the visual of this hittu-mabushi. When the bowl was served... it was so boldly arranged that I couldn't close the lid (థ公థ.) The eel was also bold, but the rice was too much (✧Д✧). The crispy grilled eel has an exquisite taste, and the sauce is not too sweet and not too thick. I'd like to stop by again!
