Jango, which has been operating in front of Oji Station for many years, is a curry house that has been in business for 40 years this year. The orange-colored storefront has remained unchanged since my childhood, and I am personally very familiar with the restaurant. I visited there for the first time in probably 10 years. They have a wide variety of curry dishes, and on this day I ordered the Tonkotsu Curry Special (1,150 yen) and the Seafood Curry (950 yen). The Tonkotsu Curry Special is a different kind of curry with a lot of stamina, containing Kakuni (pork bone) stew, tofu, and garlic, and it is spiced well, making you sweat. The seafood curry also had a robust flavor and was delicious. Jango, a curry house in Oji that I visited a long time ago. It is probably the No. 1 curry shop in Oji. I still can't forget the volume and taste of their hand-made hamburger steak curry!
