We sat at the counter at an izakaya in Namba, which is featured in the Pia MOOK "Osaka Famous Bar 100". I ordered a lemon chu-hai to start with. The menu is printed in Tepla and offers a wide variety of food choices. I ordered sunazuri ponzu and fried horse mackerel. The fried chicken gizzard with sunazuri ponzu had an exquisite texture. The fried horse mackerel and tartar sauce were also a perfect match. The price was reasonable and the meal was very satisfying. We left early due to time constraints. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
