Savor Musashino Udon in a Warm Atmosphere

Ajimasa is a restaurant located in Tokorozawa where you can enjoy hand-made Musashino udon. The interior has a calm ambiance, and the udon made from local flour features a medium thickness, a supple texture, and delightful elasticity. Enjoying a bowl paired with dipping sauce made from ingredients sourced in Saitama Prefecture is well worth the visit.

Upon entering the shop, you can immediately relax as the calm atmosphere of traditional Japanese style blends with modern decorations. The black tables and walls lined with records are a delightful accent for music lovers. The handmade thin udon noodles are smooth and release the aroma of wheat with each bite. The rich meat broth, infused with the umami of bonito flakes, pairs well with the thick pork, creating a harmonious flavor. The compatibility of the udon and the broth is outstanding, and I found myself slurping it all the way to the end. It’s a wonderful shop where you can enjoy a leisurely time with family, as all seats are non-smoking.
