The area in front of Osaka-jo Koen Station has changed! On June 22, Joe Terrace opened in front of JR Osaka-jo Koen Station! It houses 22 restaurants and wow! Amazing! Most of the time when I use Osaka-jo Koen Station, it's when there is a live concert at Osaka-jo Hall. After working at a live concert, I'm pretty hungry! But there are no restaurants nearby, so I have to go all the way somewhere... I've always wondered if there was a way to solve that problem. Thank you very much! Mr. Chibo Nayo Maybe you remember eating in Minami when you were a kid? But it was so long ago that I barely remember it. Chibo has three different concepts. Basic style High class Elegance class This time, Chibo Nayo Chibo is positioned between the Basic and High Class. As soon as you enter the restaurant, there are counter seats on the right side in front of the teppan (iron plate). To the left is seating for two, and in the back is a table for four. As for the food, the special course for the opening celebration this time is 6,000 yen (excluding tax). I'm so excited! I'm really looking forward to it! As for drinks, I was curious about Chibo's special soda, even though it's non-alcoholic, so I ordered it! Tea-based syrup mixed with soda water. I like it because I like black tea! I wish they made it with alcohol too! Today's salad Roasted chicken on the top, and chianu and ancient rice on the bottom! I love the superfood, "kyanu", in this salad! Even a monotonous salad has a nice crunchy texture thanks to the ancient rice and chianu! The dressing was ethnic and refreshing! Avocado and Smoked Salmon Tartar Dip A cold appetizer with a summery flavor! I wondered if this kind of dish was laid-back. I thought it would be... It's rather easy to enjoy! Seasonal vegetables with truffle salt Roasted onions and potatoes It says "seasonal vegetables", but they are not so seasonal. The onions were sweet and the potatoes were delicious! I think the truffle salt is a little weak. Teppan Grilled Lobster with Americaine Sauce Oh! Here comes the lobster! I'm so excited by its presence! The lobster meat has been cut so that it is easy to eat! So plump! Is the americaine sauce made with miso? It's a little thick, so be careful not to put too much on! We enjoyed it while adjusting the sauce. Japanese beef loin steak! It was grilled leaving the rare part, yuck! I didn't expect to be able to eat meat, so I was super happy! The okonomiyaki has a little cabbage, but it's a specialty! This is their specialty! They have been doing this for over 40 years! The yakisoba was also easy to eat, not too thick with sauce! Matcha and caramel cake! Even dessert was included! The matcha is like an ice cream cake and the caramel is not too sweet! I was wondering if a sorbet would have been better, since there were so many strong dishes in a row. I'm not sure. The okonomiyaki, meat, and shrimp were all lavishly prepared! Let's go again! I'd like to go there again! Okay! I'll go out with you! and we went to the reception we went to before at Meidai Chibo! We were shown to a table in the back. You can see Osaka Castle from here! First of all, each person has a drink of his/her choice. I toasted with Chibo's special sour! What is it? It's a black tea liqueur-based chu-hai! It's a little sweet, so I really like it! As for the dishes, I chose the ones that caught my attention this time!
