The eel rice finished in a stone pot is the signature dish, and when it is served, the sound and aroma are exciting. The rice soaked in sauce is nicely grilled, and the crispy burnt bits are delightful. It can be enjoyed in a hitsumabushi style, and the generous amount of green onions pairs well. The eel grilled over charcoal is fluffy and aromatic. There is also a good selection of other dishes besides eel, including pufferfish and soft-shelled turtle, which is a pleasant surprise. The soft-shelled turtle can be enjoyed thoroughly from the appetizer to the hot pot and even to the finish, providing a sense of satisfaction.
