As I casually walked through the noren (curtain), I was greeted by a relaxed atmosphere at the counter that immediately made me feel at ease. The chef and the owner warmly welcomed me, making it delightful to feel like a regular even on my first visit. The diverse selection of toppings, including lean fish, sea bass, mackerel, and green clams, were all rich in flavor and delicious. In particular, the shrimp, which is boiled after ordering, was plump and sweet, bringing a smile to my face. When paired with the warm sake, Kiku Masamune, the deliciousness of the sushi was further enhanced. The cheerful atmosphere, including some tipsy customers, allowed me to fully enjoy the charm of a local sushi place.
