This is a cozy shop with bare light bulbs that is easy to drop by. There are many creative Japanese dishes, and you can feel the careful craftsmanship in each one. The seared Hitachi beef nigiri, the tender Bimi pork braised belly, and the angel shrimp mayo particularly left an impression on me. The seasonal flavors are abundant, with white fish roe and oysters in winter, and bamboo shoots and cod buds in spring. The lineup of sake is extensive, featuring brands from all over the country, including Akita and Ibaraki, and the tasting of Yamamoto, Aramasa, Tsuki no Ie, and Dassai is exciting. Located in a corner of Mito Raku Yokocho, you can enjoy homemade marinated mackerel and potato salad with lemon sour or tomato sour, both of which are delicious.
