A izakaya to enjoy makgeolli from all over Korea

Tamotori House is an izakaya where you can enjoy carefully selected makgeolli from all over Korea. Located in Kaepo Village, just north of Green Sapo Station on Subway Line 6, it's a popular spot among foreigners. The owner personally selects and offers over 20 varieties of makgeolli at all times. For first-timers, the "Sampler Makgeolli" which allows you to try 5 types of makgeolli is recommended. A Japanese menu is also available for easy ordering.

Reservations

All the makgeoli and food were excellent! We were very happy to sample different makgeoli from different regions and appreciate the flavor difference etc. The Japanese makgeoli list and menu were very helpful. I would love to visit again! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the dishes are very big that I may not be able to try different dishes if we were a party of 2, for example (as opposed to a party of 5, which we were yesterday). But we really loved the place!!! Thank. you!!!
