The cozy interior, which evokes the atmosphere of the Showa era, makes you feel at ease as soon as you step inside. The jazz and tango records playing at the counter are pleasant to the ears, allowing for a relaxed drinking experience. The salad chikuwa I ordered first was surprisingly delicious, with grilled chikuwa stuffed with potato salad. The classic grilled chicken, especially the chicken breast, is fluffy and tender, with the juices gently spreading. The Kumamoto specialties of horse sashimi and mustard lotus root are also fresh, pairing well with the slightly sweet soy sauce, making it hard to put down the chopsticks. Thanks to the warm service from the couple, it's a wonderful place where you can forget the time and relax.
